Nietzsche's beliefs have gone misunderstood since the times of His writings. It was even His own understanding that those of His time could not understand His ideas. Even the great thinkers that followed Him often had difficulty comprehending his ideas, misinterpreting His beliefs to fit into their own world view. As such, it is our duty to correct the misunderstandings that have been made surrounding what He said and the word He gave to us all.
God is dead. One of His most famous quotes, and one that is no more true at any point than it is today. God as we knew Him was forgotten and abandoned by man. What times of the past held dear as their pantheon became abandoned as religious understanding became commonplace. When Zarathustra descended from the mountain, He was in a world where no one had yet realised, that no one had yet known, that God is dead. Despite this saying, it is clear that God was speaking through Nietzsche. He had divine inspiration, and He acted out miracles even in giving the word of God unto us all. Men yearn not for the doctrine of weakness, of free love, and of the past's failures; but for growth, greatness, and to Become greater in the future.
Becoming the Superman is the direct following of this. When man has lost his faith, it becomes time for a Superman to arise from amongst his people and usher in a new age of greater civilisation — more southern souths, and distant futures. Zarathustra brought us wisdom and truth on the nature of the Superman, a man who is beyond good and evil. The Superman is amongst us all, and when we each become greater we bring ourselves and those around us closer to the Superman, and to Becoming.
To Become is the most holy and righteous thing a man can do. Nietzsche taught us that this is through the Will to Power. That it is our Will that inspires divinity in man. It is that in all men there is a divine Will to Power that allows him to manipulate everything around him, to shape the world he lives in to his liking, to make it more divine, more beautiful, and more great. After all, what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. This is the human spirit that has allowed us to Become, to conquer the planet, to conquer the natural world, and to spread beyond that which man has previously ever known.
Morality, as it is often described today, was rejected by Nietzsche. He told us that most today live with a slave morality, a system that subdues those who subscribe to it and live by it. That saps their potency and reduces them to a shell of what they are capable of being. Nietzsche taught us that we must reject this slave morality, that we must Become. That we must live up to the greatest we can be and support one another in achieving this highest state, to Become. He taught community and self importance, and that we all work together to Become.
Today we see that men lack faith, they lay idle and fearful in tombs of their own creation, and they toil for naught. Nietzsche saw these issues, He understood them well, and His predictions remain true today. Only through His word, and through God who spoke unto Him, can we truly Become, for He is destiny.
